Faq - Immersive GameBox

Immersive GameBox

What should I do if I'm running late for my booking?

While we can't promise that we'll be able to fit you in, the best thing to do is turn up as close to your booking time as possible (remember, your arrival time is 10 minutes before the session is due to start) and our team will do everything they can to get you into a Gamebox. Please be aware that this may include playing a shorter game.

What is the age suitability?

We allow players from 5+! There must be at least one adult (18+) per Gamebox with children under 12. US specific: Ages 12-17 can play unaccompanied, but will require an adult (18+) to sign the waiver on their behalf upon arrival.

My child is under 5, can they play?

We have done a lot of testing and found that, although children under 5 years enjoy the lights and music, the adventures themselves can be too challenging to engage with properly. They are more than welcome to come inside the Gamebox and watch but unfortunately they cannot join in. Children 4 and below do not need a ticket purchased but please bare in mind the experience is very heavily sensory and may not be suitable for children of this age as a result. Gameboxes hold a maximum of 6 people and this includes any younger children not participating. Please be aware of small children in the Gamebox with you as the lighting can be dim and players are very active!

How does pricing work?

We have different length adventures 30 minutes or 60 minutes so the amount will change depending on what adventure you’d like to play and when you want to visit us! You'll be able to see prices when you're booking your tickets.

What should I wear?

Please wear sensible footwear: flat shoes or trainers, no open toes or heels. We advise wearing just one layer, as you may get warm when being active in the Gamebox!

Are there any physical requirements?

You will be moving around your Gamebox as the controller of the game, however our games aren’t too physical and all activity is contained in one Gamebox, so you don’t need a specific level of fitness to play.

Can more than 6 people play?

Our gameboxes hold a maximum of 6 players so when making your booking our system will automatically reserve multiple game boxes to accommodate your group size. You will need to split the group into teams and you will all play at the same time.

Can I store my stuff?

We have lockers for small bags and coats, however we do not have storage for large items such as suitcases or bikes inside our venues. Please seek alternative arrangements for storing such items. Storage of pushchairs / strollers may be able to be accommodated, but space is limited so please contact us in advance if this is something you need and we’ll see what we can do.

Will I be put with other groups?

No, you won’t be put in with another group. Bookings are private and you will only be joined in your Gamebox by those you booked to play alongside, even if there’s only 2 of you.

If I have a disability or access requirements can I still take part in the games?

Most disabilities and access requirements can be accommodated but we want to make sure the games are safe and enjoyable for everyone, so if you’re not sure, please get in touch before booking and we can help you figure it out. For any players with photosensitive conditions please be aware that our adventures contain digital projections that are a source of flickering light. Please contact us if you have any questions and we’ll be happy to discuss.

Can I play if I'm pregnant?

Playing Immersive Gamebox is a physical activity, with lots of moving around on your feet. While we have no restrictions on pregnant players, every person’s pregnancy is different and we defer to your own judgement on whether you should play.
